Holiday Card Class

I will be holding my only Holiday Card Class this Saturday, November 15 at the Clover Farm Market in West Groton, MA between 10am to 2pm.  Participants will make 12 cards - 3 each of 4 different designs for a cost of $28.  Here are the cards:

 

The first two use To You and Yours set, which is new to the catalog this year.  The first card is a glitter window, although it's hard to see in the photo.  The second has some bling too, but again it's hard to pick up in the photographs.

 

 

The final 2 cards are 3" x 6" cards which fit in the small open ended envelopes. The first uses the Punches Three hostess set and the second uses Season of Joy.

There are 5 spots left if you would like to attend or I can send you out a kit for a small fee to cover postage.  Just drop me a line at alimanning@charter.net

Countdown to Christmas Clipboard

Thursday is the last day to sign up for the Countdown to Christmas Clipboard class on October 23.  If you cannot make the class, but would still like to make the project you can purchase the kit to make at home or at Open Studio this month.  The kit includes the clipboard, pre-cut c/stock and designer paper, all embellishments (ribbon, felt snowflakes, pearls, brads etc) and pre-printed numbers.  The cost is $25 and I'm happy to ship kits and will charge actual mailing cost.

Scrap Night

I hope my local customers can join me on Thursday, September 25 at 7pm for a Scrap Night at my house in Groton, MA.  We'll be using the Pina Colada Simply Scrappin' Kit to make this cute Scrapbook in a Box.  The kit will make 2 full boxes with plenty of leftovers - one to keep and one to give as a gift.  The cost is $25 and if you wish you can share the cost with a friend and make one box each.  The bright, cheerful colors are perfect for all those summer pictures you took.  If you wish to chose another Simply Scrappin' Kit, just let me know.

All That Glitters

Scrapbook in a Day

Okay, so I'm catching up with the last few weekends.  The one after the New Stampshire's Event, I held the Scrapbook in a Day class.  We were a very small crowd, but had a great time eating chocolate covered strawberries, scrapping and chatting.  Here's Maria making her scrapbook to give to her mom as a Mothers' Day gift.

Gifts for the Girls

Here's a sneak peak at my next stamp camp on Sunday, April 27.  We'll be making some girly gifts - an adorable tote with four cards plus envelopes and a 10-page clear envelope brag book.  They are just in time for Mothers' Day, if you can bear to part with them!

No Time to Scrapbook?

Are you like me and have hundreds of photos and no time to scrapbook them?  Are you overwhelmed and don't know where to begin?  Wouldn't it be great to make a whole scrapbook in one day?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then my SCRAPBOOK IN A DAY class is right for you. 

At the class, you will complete 20 pages to fill one of Stampin' Up!'s 6x6 brag books.  All pages will be pre-designed, ready for you to assemble and add your photos.  This is a great opportunity to scrapbook a vacation, special event, remodelling project, baby pictures or just your favorite photographs.  These albums are great to give as gifts (think Mothers' Day).  You could also leave out the photos and give it as baby shower or wedding gift etc.

February Stamp Camp

Here's a sneak peak at two of the projects we will be making at February's Stamp Camp. 

How cute is this?  I'm calling it a Flowerpot Lollipop.  Here's the side view:

Let me say, this is not my original idea.  My upline went to convention and received something very similar to this as a swap.  I figured out a template for it (will post after stamp camp) and changed out the stamp set etc.  But if the original designer of this project is out there, please step forward, so I can give you credit.  It's such a cute idea.

Here's another of the projects we'll be making.  It's a get well card using A Little Birdie Told Me and hopefully it will bring a smile to the face of its recipient!

It's actually a white paper lunch bag and when you open it up you find a package of chicken noodle soup.

Holiday Card Camp

More Wrap Up the Holidays Projects

Good morning from rainy Massachusetts. 

I'm sharing with you today a few more projects from the Wrap Up the Holidays class (the last ones, I promise).  Here are large versions of the tin tie frosted bags from Papertrey - you can see smaller ones in this post.  These are a great size for home baked goodies and hand made cards.  The second picture is a CD holder to make those photo CDs look a little more special.  I'm getting together a template for the CD holder and will post it when it's ready.

Both bags use Stampin' Up!'s Season of Joy set from the Holiday Mini Collection.  The cookie bag uses purely pomegranite and very vanilla card stock plus purely pomegranite and river rock ink.  The card bag uses brocade blue card stock and ink together with a little Pretty in Pink 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and a couple of bells - you've got to have jingle bells somewhere, right?

Sorry the picture quality is poor on this one.  It really is raining cats and dogs here and there's no light at all.  This was a simple project using soft sky, old olive and whisper white card stock.  The belly band is from the Fall Flowers Designer Paper.  The CD base was stamped with one of the flowers from Heartfelt Thanks and the tag uses the Be Happy set.  Keep a look out for the template.
