I love to use shimmering white card stock, but it's pretty expensive. I usually buy the Stampin' Up!'s Shimmery White Cardstock ($7.95 for 10 sheets) and Papertrey also offers a White Shimmer Cardstock ($8 for 12 sheets).
When I was making this card today, I was excited to discover that I could make my own with Babys Breath Shimmerz Spritz! I spritzed a piece of Papertrey Stampers Select White cardstock with one fine coat of the Spritz and it looked exactly like Shimmery White cardstock. I'm so happy because I love to use this cardstock but am always afraid to use my stash because of the cost. Take a look!
I made the card for Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge this week.
Here's the finished card:
Hope you're having a shimmering day!
Supplies (all Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Tea for Two
Paper: Stampers Select White & Ripe Avocado
Ink: Ripe Avocado, Babys Breath Shimmerz Spritz
Accessories: Raspberry Fizz Classic Grosgrain ribbon, Spring Moss Topnotch Twill & Dew Drops
Tools: Spellbinders Labels One, Big Shot

How pretty is THAT!?! Great job! I'm always amazed by people who are "brave" with their whites! What an elegant and wonderful job! Yipee!

Ali, I have the same dilemma with using up my SU Shimmery White CS and consequently rarely use it. I can't thank you enough for the great tip on PTI paper and the Shimmerz Spritz. This is just wonderful!
