Only time to make one card today, so I had to be a little Miss Multi-tasker. Today's CAS challenge on Splitcoast is to use distressing on a clean and simple card. I combined it with this layout on the Clean & Simple blog
and a new color challenge on Dawn McVey's blog.
These colors look great on Dawn's swatch, but I found them really tricky to combine. I wound up only using small amounts of the red and berry, more soft pink and a lot of kraft. And I just had to add the dark green. The colors I chose were Raspberry Fizz (PTI) for the berry, Pretty in Pink (SU) for the soft pink and Fire Engine Red Shimmerz for the red, which is in the flower centers.
The flower image is from the Stampin' Up! set Friends 24-7 and was water colored with reinkers. Both the ribbon and ribbon slide are Stampin' Up! too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog - enjoy your day!
Supplies:
Stamps: Friends 24/7 (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Kraft c/stock, water color paper & Bella Blue designer paper ( all SU), Raspberry Fizz & Ripe Avocado (PTI)
Ink: Stazon, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion & Close to Cocoa (SU), Fire Engine Red Shimmerz
Accessories: Pretty in Pink narrow grosgrain ribbon (SU), silver ribbon slide (SU), pin
Tools: Bone folder, sponge & scissors for distressing

Wow!! This card is so delicate and pretty ;)

Really fun hardware and hat pin accent. You rocked out Dawn's color combo.
It's a good life!
