I've wanted to try one of the Thomas Kinkade stamps for a while and I finally broke down and bought one a month ago. I'm not as excited as I thought I'd be. It is a tough stamp to use - it is almost too detailed. I really wanted to watercolor the image, but I just couldn't get a good enough impression. I used 5 different types of ink and several different types of watercolor papers but had no success. So I wound up making a monochromatic card instead and sent it to my grandma in England. I hope she likes it.
Recipe:
Stamps: Skater's Pond - Thomas Kinkade Series from Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper: shimmery white, not quite navy
Ink: Faded jeans Distress ink
Accessories: wide satin ribbon by May Arts, dazzling diamonds & glue pen
Tools: Cuttlebug embossing folder, coluzzl cutting system

Another gorgeous card! Love the touch of sparkling snow!
